FMC Troubleshooting

Problem Possible reason Solution
Faces are not detected. The client is not connected to the server. Make sure that your device is connected to the Internet.
A face cannot be detected due to the position of the device. Change the device orientation: from vertical to horizontal or vice versa. Besides, follow the recommendations below:
  • The camera should observe the face in a horizontal plane at an angle from 0 to 30 degrees, the optimum angle is from 0 to 15 degrees.
  • The camera should observe the face in a vertical plane at an angle from 0 to 20 degrees, the optimum angle is from 0 to 15 degrees.
  • It is recommended to place the camera at the face level.
Poor lighting. Follow the recommendations below:
  • Illuminance level in the recognition area should be at least 200 Lux (only when the camera is located at a distance of no more than 3m from a face), the optimal value is from 300 to 500 Lux.
  • Avoid back light whenever possible.
  • Light should be diffused. Avoid harsh shadows on a face.
The error Invalid token is displayed during the authorization. The entered token is incorrect. Make sure that you are entering the correct token.
The status Stopped. Device is blocked is displayed on the settings page. The client is not connected to the server. Make sure that your device is connected to the Internet.
The person was added to the database but is not identified. The device was not connected to the Internet when adding a person to the database. Restart the application.
